Medicare Supplement
Medicare Supplement, also known as "Medigap," is private insurance to cover costs that original Medicare doesn't pay for. This includes things such as deductibles, co-pays and coinsurance. You could end up paying less for your Medicare Supplement policy than you'd end up spending on out-of-pocket costs that Medicare doesn't cover. Medicare Supplement is of such importance that rarely does anyone solely rely on Medicare alone.

There are 10 standard Medicare Supplement policies to choose from. The benefits for each plan are the EXACT SAME no matter what insurance carrier you purchase your policy from. The only difference is the price.
Why choose Medicare Supplement?
Medicare Supplement policies will cover the costs for services left behind by original Medicare (such as copayments, coinsurance and deductibles).

A Medicare Supplement policy may also cover things such as medical care when you travel outside of the United States.

Depending on your situation, you may or may not have to answer any health questions during the enrollment process to get your policy.
You are eligible for Medicare Supplement if...
You will be turning age 65 within 6 months or you are age 65 or older.
You are currently covered under Medicare Parts A & B.
You live in a state where the policy you want is offered.
In some states, you can be under age 65 with a disability or end-stage renal disease (ESRD).
